GICOM Composting Systems
GICOM’s roots lie in climate control technology for mushroom growing. GICOM Composting Systems was founded in 1984 by Gé Groenenboom, the owner of GICOM BV who was a mushroom grower at the Flevohof agricultural theme park. As well as developing climate control technology for mushroom growing, the company also began to specialise in composting technologies. Today GICOM designs and builds composting technologies on its own premises. In the last thirty years GICOM technology has been incorporated in many systems now used all over the world.

Over the years GICOM also evolved into a multi-faceted metal work company and now serves as a leading supplier for various engineering companies.
